HP is not new the the printer market, but that does not meant that they still cannot find new features and supplements for their printers that make them appealing to customers. Their Officejet 7500 Wide Format e-All-in-One E910a is an affordable printer that was made for a low to medium workload. On top of the affordability, the Officejet 7500 also offers a few unique features that make it a good choice for homes or small businesses.

The physical layout of this device is akin to nearly every other one of HP’s printers. The input bin and scanning bed cover the top of the machine while the output bin sits directly in front. All controls, from faxing to basic copy functions, are carried out in a color touchscreen on the right side of the machine. This printer also includes HP’s ePrint CD. This program allows for a remote access to the printer by any device on the network.

The speed and quality of prints for the Officejet 7500 rivals that of any other all-in-one inkjet printer in this range. The manufacturers specs state a maximum speed of 33 prints per minute, but most basic black and white copies will come in at around 20 to 22 pages per minute. All of the functions are easy to carry out via the ePrint program or the touchscreen itself. Like most HP printers, it takes only a few taps of the screen to navigate to any feature or setting imaginable and the original setup can be done in less than 45 minutes.

With all of the basics out of the way, there are a few key points that set this printer apart from the competition. The first is the ability to wirelessly control this printer through almost any smartphone, tablet PC, or other mobile device. While this is a common feature for high-end printers, many companies simply overlook such a useful system for remote printing. The hardware that makes this printer standout is the extra-large bins that allow for printing on unusually sized paper. The largest settings allow for prints up to 13″ x 19″.

“Overall this is a great product. Setting up the printer was simple, even the network setup. I connected the OJ7000 to my wireless router since I have desktops and a laptop (which is wireless). No more taking my laptop over to the printer and connecting to the USB port to print or having to turn my desktop on to share a printer. The print quality is excellent on black and white, photo quality and all types of printing in-between, and easily prints fast perfect 13×19 print jobs. I did have to get used to the time it takes to begin a print job as the printhead is moving back and forth setting itself up. It’s only seconds more than other std format hp printers I use which is understandable since the carriage the print head travels on is over 13 inches instead of 8.5 inches.When it starts printing It prints very fast even for the highest quality large format photo prints up to 13×19. A huge package, but the footprint of the printer is then nevertheless encouraging:

Then the printing is indeed fast, but pretty loud (clean nozzle?) (Well, I work mostly at night …) and you can not adapt to noise …. That is the missing star … Well, matter of getting used ….
To the “scope” of the cartridges I can tell, is not long enough in use …. The output is good, is as black text, images ok well, for my purposes (small flyers and posters) perfectly adequate – -
recommended at this price, absolutely!!

Individual color tanks:

Some inkjet printers use a separate tank for each color. Others have tri-color cartridges with three colors in one. Individual tanks let you replace only the color that runs out rather than tossing a tri-color cartridge that may have some ink left.

Networking:

The ability to connect to a home network for printing from a computer either via an Ethernet or a WiFi connection. Ethernet is the common wired network and WiFi is the wireless format commonly found in laptop computers.

To choose a suitable 11×17 printer,  firstly you should know what application you will mainly use it for , to print the text, or the photograph, then consider the times of printing you may require,occasionally or frequently.

11×17 Ink jet printers can print by spraying  liquid ink to form the text or image, because the printing process is reply on a print head’s back and forth movement, the speed is slow. They are very good at colorful photography printing however the printing quality for text is not so high.

A 11×17 laser printer uses a fine plastic powder(toner) to print by heating it up and then melted it on to the paper instead of using ink. They are faster than inkjets, and have the best printed text quality.

Generally speaking , for black and white printing,tabloid laser is a economic choice although the machine cost is expensive the per cartridge can print much more pages and much faster than a 11×17 ink jet. In case of you need more on printing photos, then you should choose an ink jet 11×17 printer because of the high resolution and vivid effect.

Buying a 11×17 printer can bring your business  a lot of benefit,  no more to join two piece of regualr paper for a large one.  It is especially helpful for printing  lagre format  drawings, posters, and  presentations.

Now printer is becoming cheaper to be purchased, some model even is sold at less than 200 USD, thanks to advancement of technology, the cheap one still have good quality.

But you should concern about the ink cartridges ink consumption of the cheap photo printers, because usually the cheap printer will run out of ink cartridges very soon, because the manufacturer will try to make a profit from selling them other than directly from selling the printer which make it expensive in term of ink consumption.

Many users will use third-party ink to replace the original ink as long as the one you buy is of a quality product, however most good replacement inks are the same price as the original one.

If you have more budget, you should consider buying more expensive photo printers which rated between 400 and 1000 USD that have much better printing quality, longer life and will greatly save your ink cost.

Ink spillage is another issue you should take into account, you have to the clean the print heads of inkjet photo printer especially the cheap one from time to time. The cleaning of print heads is to use a little of ink to flush the head, but a few printers would need huge amounts of ink for cleaning.

The printing quality of a photo printer relies on many factors, but the capacity to uniformly fill a patch with color and color accuracy will be the most determining factor. A good printer should print color accurately. Most cheap photo printers are able to print your photos directly from the digital camera, but if the photo quality is not so good, you may need to edit it on your pc.

In summary, if you have high demand on photo printing quality, and budget is enough, don’t choose the cheapest printer, you will have more cost on ink consumption, just choose the high-end photo printer. Canon and HP are reliable choice, Epson is also good in term of large format photo printer.

I use it with the HP Rip, HP Inks and HP media and have had such good experience with it’s versatility, its print-out quality, it’s hard work, (and no repair problem!) It’s footprint is just right for my small studio. It’s function is precise and smart enough to correct me if I try something incorrectly. I get so excited with anticipation when a print comes out and see the perfect results, especially when its on canvas! “I purchased between 8 and 12 of these printers. I liked them so much that I bought some and put them in storage. I have not had any problems at all. No paper jams, long life on print heads and ink. I personally think that a better printer can not be found for the money. I have not had to do anything to these printers but plug them in. I have recommended them to all of my family that use computers and printers whether for business applications or just personal use.”

When my first art print came out, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. The quality is jaw-dropping. Flat, dull black is NOT a problem with this printer thanks to the Photo Black ink cartridge. Skin tones came out great. Subtle highlights and shadows, perfect. It literally looked like the picture on my monitor in this respect. The color isn’t perfect; purples tend to be a little redder in print than they appear onscreen, but this is the only thing that I have noticed. The overall quality is better than anything I’ve gotten from a commercial printing outfit; all of those came out way too dark and way too yellow.

I didn’t notice that the printing seemed especially fast for a 13×19 paper, but for smaller sizes it does seem to run fast. Speed was much less of an issue for me than quality, though.

I got this wide format printer heavily on sale, but even the standard retail price would have been worth it. It’s THAT good.”

I was using the 8250 and wanted larger prints. The b8550 is great.
The prints are perfect. The number of inks seems to make no difference in the excellence of the finished photos. Great price and works like a charm.

This printer puts out sharp, excellent pictures. However, it will break a poor person with all the ink it uses. I have bought and discarded several brands but always come back to HP because of the quality. I just wish I didn’t have to go to the bank every time I need new ink cartridges!!
